Cache Creek Ridge Trail

Looking down into Cache Creek from near the ridge.

There are some great oak trees up here.

Abondoned bulldozer.

Some portions of the trail are like walking through a park.

From the top of this point I could see both Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta which is pretty amazing considering they are over 100 miles away as the bird flies and that in order to see them you have to look out over the Central Valley which is almost always covered in haze and pollution.

Mt.Shasta from 170 miles away.

Mt. Lassen from 115 miles away.

Haven't seen one of these in awhile. Dogs love stock tanks.

Trail view.

Kennedy Flats from above. My campsite was down there somewhere.

Long and straight trail up Cache Creek ridge after Dunfield Flats.
