Flat Tops Loop - Day 1
Left the house around 4pm on Friday and was on the trail around 6pm. The first part of the 40 mile loop I had drawn up went through the remnants of the Big Fish Fire of 2002. The fire burned much of the forest around Trappers Lake. It might have been devastating at the time, but 7 years later this place is looking healthy and spectacular.
