Day 2 - Soap Creek to North Canyon (Miles 11 - 20)

Woke up early for a little hike up Soap Creek. The creek was frozen solid.

Soap Creek Camp.

Good spirits on Day 2. Loading the boats.

Jason. Jesus rays.

Sun was out and after yesterday's rush and nerves we finally can relax and enjoy ourselves.

The nightly routine begins to develop: Dinner. Fire. Music. Glow in the Dark Bocce.

Day 1 - Lees Ferry to Soap Creek (Mile 0 - 11)

Our first day was a cold one. We had to get used to the big 18' boats and the cold weather. After spending a morning doing an orientation with the NPS ranger, we got on the river around noon and had a short day to Soap Creek.

I have looked down on rafters from that bridge so many times and cursed them for their luck...now, here I am. It sure felt good floating under it this time.

First real rapid of the trip--Badger Creek. The Puma attacks.
